🔍 What’s this workshop about?
Every game you’ve ever played has a hidden layer, not just code, but decisions, systems, and creative thinking that happen long before a game becomes playable.
“The Game Before the Game” is an insider talk about the process behind game development, how ideas turn into mechanics, how systems are designed, and how developers think before opening the engine.
You won’t need programming experience. This session focuses on understanding the logic, creative decisions, and development mindset behind games rather than live coding or technical demos.
Think of it as stepping into the developer’s perspective before the actual build begins.
👩🎓 Who’s it for?
High-school students curious about:
How games actually work under the hood
Programming & creative problem-solving
