🕹️ About the Workshop
Have you ever wondered why we play? Why games have been part of human life long before screens even existed?
In this interactive workshop, you’ll explore the concept of play, from its origins in human behavior to its evolution into modern video games. You’ll discover how simple forms of play transform into structured systems, mechanics, and ultimately, complete game experiences.
In just a few hours, you’ll work alongside an industry professional and unpack how games actually begin: not with code, but with play itself. You’ll learn how ideas turn into mechanics, and how designers shape experiences that people genuinely enjoy.
Yes, you’ll start thinking like a game designer!
